Camera path

Six beats, eased through, ending on a hero frame.

Every flythrough follows the same benchmark structure so the sequence reads as a deliberate drone move rather than a raw Google Earth zoom.

  1. 1 · Establish

High-and-wide over the corridor so buyers recognise the terrain, city or coastline first.

  2. 2 · Fly-in

Track the route, road, corridor or river toward the asset, easing pitch flatter as we descend.

  3. 3 · Descend & reveal

Drop into an orbit at 600–900m so the building face, hardstand, dock or lease outline reads clearly.

  4. 4 · Context arc

Smooth pull-out arc toward the port, airport, mine-to-market corridor or catchment context.

  5. 5 · Settle

Ease onto a composed hero frame that doubles as the poster or thumbnail.

  6. 6 · Labels

External-ready callouts with leader lines and de-collision, plus source and imagery attribution held on screen.

Who this is for

Best fit when the audience needs to see the site before they read a word of the brief.

A flythrough is a visual asset, not a decision brief. It pairs with a Site & Route Evidence Pack or a Board / Investor Pack when the audience also needs commercial context, source ledger and claims check alongside the visual.

Property campaigns

Warehouse, industrial estate and precinct campaigns where a 25-second sequence sells the site before the flyer is read.

Investor and board decks

Location logic, route-to-market or precinct story in a stakeholder-ready video slot.

Mining and infrastructure

Lease context, route-to-market corridor and site setting for capital committees and community packs.

Tenant / customer briefings

A visual walkthrough of access, hardstand and route logic before a site visit.

Source & rights

Google Maps Platform under the hood, with attribution held in-frame.

  • Google Maps Platform Photorealistic 3D Tiles via the Map Tiles API, rendered with CesiumJS.
  • Google / Cesium attribution held on-screen for the whole imagery segment.
  • API key restricted by HTTP referrer and Maps Platform billing tier scoped to the project.
  • Public-advertising or investor use flagged before production so the right Maps Platform tier is used.
  • Client-supplied drone or aerial media only used where rights are confirmed in writing.

FAQ

3D flythrough questions.

Do you fly real drones?

Not by default. The core product is a Cesium camera path over Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles — a cinematic drone-style sequence over real 3D terrain and buildings, with attribution held in-frame. If a client-owned drone clip is available, or a paid drone flight is scoped, that footage can be cut into the sequence.

Where in the world do you have 3D mesh?

Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles cover major AU cities, most capital and regional centres in developed markets, and progressively more secondary areas. Rural, remote and greenfield sites without mesh coverage fall back to satellite-drape terrain, which is still legible with careful camera work; we tell you up front if a site is in that category.

What resolution and framerate do we get?

1080p at 24 or 30 fps for public and investor use. 4K master can be scoped where the delivery channel warrants it.

Can I use the video for public advertising?

Yes, provided the site has full source-rights clearance and Google Maps Platform attribution is preserved. Public-advertising use must be flagged during intake so the right Maps Platform tier and disclosure are applied.

Can I edit or re-cut it later?

You receive an MP4 master, a poster still and the camera-path recipe so a future re-render (different aspect ratio, longer or shorter cut, different label pass) is a scoped follow-up, not a rebuild from scratch.

Next Step

Ready to scope a flythrough for your site or corridor?

Send the site, the audience and the intended use. We confirm mesh coverage, camera path, source lane and delivery format before production starts. Pricing from AUD 4,500 depending on scope, framerate and audience-specific versioning.
